Rip and his sister Skeeter have given me a multitude of "firsts" as my first litter with Greg and first bred-by champions. In the last months of vet school, Greg and I decided it was time for Simone to have her first litter. Just after my graduation, she had a scheduled C-section in May of 2021 just before the holiday weekend. I was so lucky to spend 4 wonderful weeks in Rhode Island at Poole's Ide with Greg and Sam, learning everything I could and enjoying the shore and seafood!

Rip is clever, sweet, athletic, and unflappable. He lives with my parents, Dana and John, in Alexandria, VA. In addition to proving himself in the show ring, field, and other venues, he is a wonderful, loyal companion. He loves to retrieve as he he walks the nearby park with them in the mornings.

He has a deep love of all textiles, particularly stolen ones - dish towels, rugs, throws, snoods, socks...

There is always a cheeky irish glint in his eye as he negotiates a "trade."
